ABOUT US

Learn more about us and our work. With an environmentally conscious mind and a knack for electronics and business, together, Steven Fruge and Monica Rios created E-juvenations. Both founders possess a love for classic electronics, which when coupled with their learnings of e-waste and the damage it does to the environment, ignited their passion for a greener world. They sought to be part of the solution. For them, it was a no brainer, electronic refurbishing and reuse was the way to go. It all began with a couple of used iPod classics, an account on eBay and faith in their research. From there on they were in business. Located in the greater New Orleans area, they are proud to serve their home community. Protect the environment while decluttering your life!

RECYCLING

E-juvenations’ mission is to recycle, refurbish, and reuse electronics so that the environment has one less thing to worry about. Nowadays there is a huge need for reducing e-waste from our planet. The manufacturing of electronics consumes a massive amount of energy and water, along with other valuable resources, making recycling and recovery a key way to lower impact. Unfortunately, there is often little interest by manufacturers to make electronic devices repairable or more easily recyclable. According to a study conducted by the Consumer Electronics Association, in 2012, the average family-owned 24 discrete consumer electronic products and spent $1,312 on consumer electronics. In a recent report by the EPA, consumers get rid of over 416,000 mobile devices and 142,000 computers daily either by recycling or disposing of them in landfills and incinerators. In our community, this means that by the end of 2019 there will be a total of 3,717,480 electronics in New Orleans and only 743,496 will be deposed properly. E-rejuvenation aims to provide another option that is much less harmful.

In their journey to aide this growing problem, E-juvenations accepts electronic donations so please don’t throw your old devices away! With FREE drop off, pickups or shipping it isn’t hard to help. It does not matter if it is 1 item or a 100, all are welcome.
